sugarchild: So my friend Violette Colla and I were at the Renaissance Pleasure Faire today, and as we were walking around, we saw a woman who looked a lot like River Song. As we approached her, assuming she was only an incredible cosplayer, we heard she had an accent. We then flipped our shits. After a little trying to figure out if it was actually Alex Kingston or not, we got the courage to ask if it was her. AND IT WAS.  WE. MET. ALEX. KINGSTON. RIVER SONG. I think Karen and Arthur had played with the idea of, potentially, what if River was their child? I remember them suggesting it once, and looking at me. I just went, ‘I don’t know. How can she be your daughter? She doesn’t have red hair’ or something, with a completely blank face. So they dismissed that theory.
